Great Company

Sunday was a wonderful day. I met up with my friend Trish (above) and we took a lovely sunny drive through the backroads of central Marin to go to Heart's Desire Beach. Although a bit chillier and much grayer than the inland, it was a beautiful place for a "hike". Really it was more of a meandering walk, but...

I was frustrated because my little camera had trouble with its auto-focus (I ended up deleting half of my pictures due to this), but this one is so close to being in focus and she looks so lovely in the picture I kept it. After our wanderings in the woods and on the beach we headed back into town for dinner and a movie. After a scrumptious Thai meal we were lucky enough to encounter some Chinese New Year celebrations at the restaurant next door before heading to the theater to see the Oscar Nominated Animated Shorts. The shorts were very interesting; my favorite was "I Met The Walrus" (although "Peter and the Wolf" came a very close second).

All in all a very lovely day spent in great company.
