Majesty

This is another photo that I had considered submitting. In the end I decided not to, as the printer that was being used for the contest tended to print the photos a bit darker than what was on the computer screen and this photo is already a little dark. (All pictures had to be printed on the same printer as part of the contest.)

This was part of my same 2006 UK trip. I saw this on part of my seven day tour of the Scottish Highlands, specifically it is a view of The Old Man of Storr on the Isle of Skye. That tour was one of the highlights of my trip (although nothing can beat the thrill of seeing Arsenal win at Highbury before they switched stadiums). I remember both Chris and I yelled for Shep to stop the bus when we saw this view. We just had to photograph it. I never got to see Chris's photos, which was a pity.
