A Break in the Rain

It had been raining for a full week here. I know that isn't much in some places, but it's a lot at one time here. This weekend the sun broke out. Yesterday was pretty, but today is gorgeous. I know I am wasting this glorious sunshine by staying indoors, but that happens sometimes. The combination of having lots to do and also not feeling your best can lead to it. I hope the weather holds; I don't want to have missed all the sunshine.

This is a flower from an arrangement my mom put together for the kitchen table. I hate how flowers look indoors, so I took it outside into the sun yesterday to take this photo.

I have messed with the levels a little bit, to bring out the color. It was a little washed out.
