Rain, Rain, Go Away

I know rain is necessary. I even enjoy a few days of rain here and there. But three storms in a row is a bit much, don't you think? I don't tend to take many pictures in the rain, since the lighting is a little tricky. (Lighting has always been my downfall.) I do, however, love the world after the rain. One of my favorite pictures I took in college was literally raindrops on roses. (Yes, I like warm woolen mittens too. So sue me... Hee.)

It's been raining pretty much for the past week, so I haven't taken many pictures. On Monday, however, there was a pause between storms and I went for a little walk on my lunch break. I liked the lines and reflections on the pedestrian bridge, so I took a quick snapshot. This is the same bridge I took my train tracks photo from, through the fence. (Ramblin' Rose) Take a peek. Very different weather between the two shots. Because you can't see the fence in Ramblin' Rose, it doesn't even look like the same location. That's one of the things I enjoy about photography. Change the lighting, change the viewpoint, and something completely different appears.
