Collage I: Iceland Poppies

aka "Sunday's picture really WAS a flower"

I have the blessing of being able to talk to some of y'all, and I know the picture I posted on the 30th, "The Birth of a Flower", was an... interesting picture. I love receiving feedback, and sometimes I even change what I was going to post in response (ie. another flower day). I will post my Nicasio pictures a little later this week.

I briefly toyed with posting a two-shot with the original picture and a more traditional one of the same group of flowers. However instead, in order to give you an idea of what an Iceland Poppy looks like in it's many shapes and sizes throughout it's life cycle, I made this collage. You can always click back on the 30th to compare. :)

(P.S. Only two of the five shots have been cropped for the collage. The top three were taken on Sat, and the bottom two were taken Monday night. Since the flowers are rapidly dying, I didn't want to delay the pictures for better light tomorrow afternoon.)
